Rugby Needs More Marketing In The United States
Cardiff City fans are still excitedly waiting for the release of their new kit, as preparations for the Premier League season step up a notch. The signings of Josh Murphy and Greg Cunningham have added to that sense of excitement, with the Bluebirds already linked to a whole host of other names. But no matter who joins the Neil Warnock revolution, one thing seems certain — that the squad numbers will get a big shake-up as players come and go. Read more herePersonally, I hadn't even heard of rugby before reading this article. While, apparently, popular in Europe, most people, in the United States, have not heard of it. I guess that is because games are not broadcast here very often. If rugby games were put on prime time TV, the sport mightgain a large following here, in the USA. Right now, we've got all sorts of sports like baseball, football, basketball, hockey, NASCAR, golf, tennis, lacrosse, field hockey, track and field, and more. But, there is probably room for rugby. It just needs to be marketed more. Social media marketing would be a good place to start. Then, maybe develop some rugby video games to market to teens. Also, getting major sponsors would be a big help. If alcohol and tobacco companies sponsored the games and advertised them, the sport would catch on in the USA.
St Fagan's National Museum of History
St Fagan's National Museum of History seems like a delightful place to visit. Located near Cardiff in the United Kingdom, it is one of Europe's leading open-air museums. Over forty original buildings from different historical periods have been re-erected, making this an extended and interesting visit opportunity for the whole family. There are period craftsmen and women that show and explore trades of the past, and livestock roams parts of the ground. It appears to be an absolutely wonderful educational experience for all ages. There are traditional festivals, music and dance events celebrated year round, and overall seems to be a marvelous place to visit.
